Adam Lippes

Working directly with the Creative Director and the Founder, I was part of a very small, multi-faceted creative team who brought Adam’s vision for the brand to life. We  all wore about a dozen hats to effectively produce photo shoots, establish a brand identity and create immersive coverage of the seasonal fashion shows.

Highlights during my stint at Adam included art direction and production for photo shoots, overseeing model casting, hair/makeup, film editing and photo retouching. I worked closely with the e-commerce team to advise on seasonal marketing and content strategy.

Our seasonal fashion shows were pivotal moments for communicating the brand story and getting a glimpse at the process and inspiration behind each collection. Getting to work alongside the design team was a dream.

Fashion Show Coverage

This video from our Spring 2011 collection is a time capsule of my experience with such an immensely talented group. The energy was always electric, and we were in a constant state of growth and evolution.

We produced a series of lookbooks with each collection launch, serving our wholesale and retail customers. These publications were a chance to speak to the consistent and cohesive inspiration behind the brand— the women who wear and personally style Adam's pieces. As described in one Vogue review: "Real women with all kinds of bodies, who want to look pretty, and sexy, and a little edgy, and also elegant, and very now, but always like themselves."

Our seasonal digital marketing highlighted new collections, trends, fashion shows and product launches. The team created a thoughtful and targeted seasonal marketing strategy, created a variety of scalable email templates, provided exclusive content for each collection drop, and highlighted exciting brand partnerships and collaborations.

Invitations

Adam's love of the visual arts, architecture, travel and interior design provided a spring board for much of our brand collateral. We constantly experimented with texture, color and materials to surprise and delight the brand audience with invitations to fashion shows, hosted store events and philanthropic causes near and dear to Adam's heart.

In loving memory of Adam’s mother, we developed this logo identity for a new research fund committed to the treatment and research of various gynecologic cancers. The benefit to launch the fund included invitations, programs and various collateral. I worked directly with Adam to create a branding system which merged his love of art with the love of his mother.

There was a complete redesign for the online brand identity in 2010 including homepage, product listing pages, product detail pages and editorial content. Working within an established e-commerce platform and templates, we created a chic and modern shopping destination for the brand.
